How can I keep my construction workers safe during the winter?

Clearing hazardous areas – keep an eye on areas that are prone to becoming icy and make sure to clear them. Shield areas that could be hit by the colder weather and use grit to stop the ice from forming when necessary.

Educate workers – educate your workers on how to operate the site safely when adverse weather hits. Have signs in danger zones and make sure that all workers know what to do if the weather makes a drastic turn.

Brighten up your afternoons – ensure that your workers maintain clear vision whilst operating all machinery on site. We are proud to have a wide range of lighting equipment to help keep your site safe.

Know the signs of illness – educate workers on the signs of illness. Site workers should take regular breaks and be provided with winter PPE such as thick gloves and strong boots.

Our expert knowledge means whatever project you’re trying to complete, we can make the process run as safely as possible for you. Our power generators mean that you can work day or night. Not only are our lighting and power products reliable, but they are also highly convenient and help to keep your workers safe. We also have a variety of power cables available, suitable for all types of power equipment.
